The 3rd Severn Estuary From will take place on Friday 19th September at
the Paget rooms in Penarth. Places are still available and can booked through

Cardiff Bay Harbour Festival
On Monday the 25th August 2008 the Severn Estuary Partnership (SEP) in conjunction
with the School of Earth and Ocean Sciences of Cardiff University attended
Cardiff Bay Harbour Festival. The Partnership took copies of recent publications
including Severn Tidings, Guidance notes, Membership flyers and information
on the 3rd Severn Estuary Partnership Annual Forum. Cardiff University provided
a Marquee to display these publications and posters. Partnership Assistant
Paul Parker was on hand to answer any questions and raise the profile of
SEP by actively engaging with the public (full article).
Les Esturiales
The SEP continue their secretariat role to Les Esturiales and despite having
to postpone the annual conference a newsletter
has
recently been published. Updates on Les Esturiales will appear on their
website.
Severn Estuary Partnership Membership
Response to the new partnership membership scheme has been good, with many
organisations, charities, companies, clubs and individuals joining. If you
would like to join the Partnership or find out more about the membership

Estuary Groups Day - Monday 27th October
The next meeting of Severn Estuary Groups and the Joint Advisory Committee
will be on Monday 27th October at the Walton Park Hotel in Clevedon. More
details will follow later this month.
Further SEP Staff Changes
Partnership assistant Susie Gardner has the left the SEP team as she has
moved house. The SEP would like to thank Susie for all her hard work over
the past year and wish her the best of luck in her new home. SEP would also
like to welcome Lorna Scurlock, who is supporting the Partnership in the
build up to the 3rd Severn Estuary Partnership forum.
