WHO IS INVOLVED?
Each management scheme is prepared by a group of authorities having statutory
powers over the marine area (i.e. the relevant authorities). Relevant
authorities are those who are already involved in some form of relevant
marine regulatory function and would therefore be directly involved in
the management of a marine site. There is also an Advisory
Group, comprising non Relevant Authorities, that gives advice to ASERA
to enable the management scheme to take account of users’ views
as fully as possible and develop wide support for the scheme.
